On This Day in Art History: The Walt Disney School of Art Was Created

An artist and visionary that has rocked every living persons life that has ever seen a Disney movie, what a wonderful world it must have been to be around the man that first envisioned a beautiful world where all your troubles were forgotten if even for just a brief time.
Today of course, it is all done digitally, but back in the good ol' days, artist would painstakingly draw, sketch, erase, and draw again, all while maintaining the integrity of the character, as seen by the genius himself, Walt Disney.

So many of the animators of today were influenced by Disney, for instance Tim Burton. Story boarding is not for lazy people! And discipline to ones craft, devotion to the project, and being young at heart are just the first few things necessary to be a great animation artist.

Support art and support artist , and always encourage children to be creative,  because everything great and wonderful and childlike starts with art.

And here is the best part, you will have a head start...if you are among the very young at heart.....
